Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies
CRISPY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
These cookies are thin and crispy and so easy to make!
INGREDIENTS
2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
1 ¼ cups table sugar
¾ cup of light brown sugar tightly packed
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 ¼ cups butter at room temperature
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large eggs room temperature
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
¼ cup of milk
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In the bowl of a stand mixer cream together the butter and both sugars. While that is mixing put the flour, salt and cinnamon in a bowl and whisk together then add to the stand mixer a bit at a time. Add the eggs, vanilla and water then stir in the chocolate chips.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and then put heaping tablespoons of the dough a couple of inches apart to allow them to spread,
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, cookies should be golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool a couple of minutes before moving to a wire rack to finish cooling.
