The Chebucto News was started in the late 1990’s by Reg Horner to serve the communities from the Armdale roundabout out through Purcells Cove, Herring Cove and around the Sambro loop to Williamswood, Harrietsfield and Spryfield. Taken over in September of 2009 by Dan and his family, Dan is currently the publisher. Dan’s daughter Tangelene Ramsay edits the paper, his partner Sandra DeMont handles the billing and Sharon Ward is the fantastic graphics designer who makes the paper look great. Check it out below:
